Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach (about the weight of a nickel) that works to balance the body's energy through the Central Nervous System.  CST can create dramatic improvements in a person's health.  CST releases tension in the body, pain and dysfunction.  The therapist begins by gently touching the client's body in various parts to montitor the rhythm of the spinal fluid that runs through the central nervous system.  The therapist gets a feel for imbalances of fluid flow or tissue motion in the body and traces back to the source of dysfunction.  Once these areas have been identified, the therapist can use light techniques to release blockages and re-balance the flow of spinal fluid; hence improving the form and function of the Central Nervous System.

CST can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including:

  • Migraines and headaches
  • Stress and tension-related disorders
  • Motor-coordination impairments
  • Brain and spinal cord injuries
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Central Nervous System disorders

CST is provided by France Trudeau, RCRT on Tuesdays from 10 am to 5 pm and on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
